Available around the clock, this service has been accredited to the highest level under the UK Spill Association / Environment Agency Oil Spill Clean Up Accreditation Scheme. This shows that Abzorboil are considered competent to deal with any class of oil spill be it contained, on a watercourse or contaminating ground.

Abzorboil is easily contacted 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to pollution incidents. Contactable on a single telephone number (01299) 270179. After contact then the most appropriate centre is despatched to the incident and will be accompanied by a selection of equipment, absorbents and manpower thought most appropriate from the original telephone contact. We aim to be on the road with suitably loaded vehicles within 60 minutes of receipt of the alerting telephone call.

Equipment and products available from our warehouse around the clock includes lights, pumps, temporary storage tanks, skimmers, oil retaining booms, a full range of absorbent materials, sandbags, pipes, and trained staff.

Charges are simplicity itself. A standard rate is charged from leaving base to returning to base whether the call is weekend, night time, Christmas Day or any ordinary Tuesday. Consumables are charged at normal list price and  no extra charge is made for equipment used, provided under the control of an Abzorboil employee, miles run or vehicles used. Specialist services called in to assist with the clean up such as tankers or earth moving equipment are charged at cost plus a set percentage to cover overhead charges. Should overnight accommodation be required this is charged as a set rate per night.

As licensed waste carriers Abzorboil are able to complete the management of the spill through to final Waste Disposal. This is undertaken at a suitably licensed waste disposal facility. More difficult wastes may require specialist disposal.
